
Buring was born in Sweden but grew up in the Middle East. Buring attended high school at the American British Academy Muscat, Oman, where she was accompanied by producer and actor Stegath Dorr, a friend from her childhood. When she was 16, she moved to England. Buring graduated in 2004 from the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art. She is also the associate director of the MahWaff Theatre Company. Buring was also an actor in the 2006 Shakespeare's Twelfth Night production performed by Exeter's Northcott Theatre Company. Along with Sara Weymouth, David Gwillim, Buring appeared in a new playcalled Sullied by Michael Kingsbury at London's Finborough Theatre. She starred in Guardians and Monologue for An Ensemble. An Inspector Called was her first performance in the MahWaff Theatre Company. In March 2014, she will be in Strangers on a Train.
