Anna Paquin was born in Winnipeg and raised in Wellington. She began her acting career as Flora McGrath, a character in the romantic drama film"The Piano. She played teenagers as part of Hurlyburly (1998), She's All That (2000), A Walk on the Moon (2000) and portrayed in the role of the polexia Aphrodisa girl in Almost Famous (2000).
