Morgan Fairchild is an American actor. She was born Patsy McClenny on February 3 50, 1950. The actress became popular during the 1970s and 1980s due to her roles as a TV actress series. Her glamorous appearance was the most prominent feature of these series. Fairchild began her career in the CBS Daytime soap drama Search for Tomorrow as Jennifer Pace between 1973 and 1977. She appeared as Jenna Wade in 1978, the first time an actress did this. In 1980 she took the lead in Flamingo Road (NBC), in which she was awarded the Golden Globe Award nomination for the top Actress for the Television Series Drama. Fairchild co-starred alongside ABC on the soap Paper Dolls in 1984 and played Jordan Roberts in Falcon Crest between 1985 and 1986. Fairchild is also an actor in the theatre, and has appeared in a variety of TV comedy shows, including Murphy Brown, for which she received an Primetime Emmy Award nomination for the best guest star in a Comedy Series. Fairchild is also an SAG-AFTRA Board member.
